RAJASTHAN

A colorful melange of stunning palaces, massive forts, delectable cuisines, diverse cultures and warm people, Rajasthan can be proudly termed as ‘India’s glory.’ Whether wanderers interested in adventures or a quiet sojourn, Rajasthan is a travelers’ destination. Besides the miscellany of the old and the new, Rajasthan has many aspects worth knowing.

JAIPUR

Jaipur, the largest city and the capital of Rajasthan, is also referred to as the Pink City. Built by Sawai Jai Singh, this place was India’s first planned city. With spectacular hilltops and stunning fortresses, Jaipur has become a major tourist attraction among both national and international tourists. This royal city captivates travellers as it is known for its rich culture and tradition, magnificent art and artefacts, and brilliant past.

VARANASI

Varanasi, or Benaras, (also known as Kashi) is one of the oldest living cities in the world. Varanasi`s Prominence in Hindu mythology is virtually unrevealed. Mark Twain, the English author and literature, who was enthralled by the legend and sanctity of Benaras, once wrote : “Benaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together. ”

UDAIPUR

Udaipur, formerly the capital of the Mewar Kingdom, is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, it’s set around a series of artificial lakes and is known for its lavish royal residences. City Palace, overlooking Lake Pichola, is a monumental complex of 11 palaces, courtyards and gardens, famed for its intricate peacock mosaics.

JAISALMER

Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading center and a princely state in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the “Golden City,” it’s distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. Dominating the skyline is Jaisalmer Fort, a sprawling hilltop citadel buttressed by 99 bastions. Behind its massive walls stand the ornate Maharaja’s Palace and intricately carved Jain temples.

BANDHAVGARH FOREST 

Bandhavgarh National Park is in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This biodiverse park is known for its large population of royal Bengal tigers, especially in the central Tala zone. Other animals include white tigers, leopards and deer. The mix of tropical forest, Sal trees and grassland is home to scores of bird species, including eagles. To the south are the remains of the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort.

KERALA

Kerala, a state in India’s  tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It’s known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Inland are the Western Ghats, mountains whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife.

KOLKATA

Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) is the capital of India’s West Bengal state. Founded as an East India Company trading post, it was India’s capital under the British Raj from 1773–1911. Today it’s known for its grand colonial architecture, art galleries and cultural festivals. It’s also home to Mother House, headquarters of the Missionaries of Charity, founded by Mother Teresa, whose tomb is on site.

AGRA

Home to one of the 7 wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal, Agra is a sneak peek into the architectural history with other UNESCO World Heritage Sites as Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. History, architecture, romance all together create the magic of Agra and hence makes for a must-visit for anyone living in or visiting India.

DELHI

Dotted with many mesmerising architectures, Delhi is a dream destination of history and architecture lovers. Its historical splendour is accompanied by modern facilities and comfort of latest facilities, transportation and commutation facilities. This makes Delhi a destination worth visiting by all, irrespective of age and interest.
